Russian forward and Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin shared his views on his performance at the beginning of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season and noted that he sometimes lacked luck. His words guide the way official site Leagues.
“I’ve got luck, but sometimes you have to look at yourself and think about what you should have done differently. “I think it’s just a time when luck is not on your side sometimes,” Ovechkin said.
After ten games in the regular season, Washington sits 12th in the NHL Eastern Conference with 11 points.
This NHL season, Ovechkin appeared in 10 games in which he scored two goals and six assists. In the last four matches, the hockey player could not reach the opponent’s goal.
During his entire NHL career, the Russian forward scored 824 goals. The difference with record holder Wayne Gretzky is 70 goals. In third place is Gordie Howe, who scored 801 goals during his NHL career.
