Eduardo Camavinga is another jewel that strengthens Real Madrid. After the extensions of the Brazilians Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo Goes, the time has come for the versatile French footballer, whose extension with the white club was announced on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

The French player, who came over from Rennes in the summer of 2021 when he was barely 18 years old, extends his contract in the Spanish capital until 2029 and now has an exit clause of around one billion euros.

Statement from Real Madrid

“Real Madrid CF and Camavinga have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which will remain with the club until June 30, 2029.

Camavinga joined Real Madrid in 2021 at the age of 18 and has won six titles in his first two seasons: 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 1 League, 1 Copa del Rey and 1 Super Cup Spain.

At just 20 years old, he has already made 114 appearances defending the Real Madrid shirt. He was nominated for the Golden Boy in 2021 and 2022, and for the Kopa Trophy in 2022 and 2023.”
