Togliatti’s Lada beat Moscow’s CSKA team in the away game of the regular season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).

The meeting ended with a score of 4:3.

Among the winners were Troy Josephs, Ivan Romanov and Sergei Shumakov, who scored a double.

The goals for CSKA were scored by Vladislav Kamenev, Maxim Mamin and Mikhail Grigorenko.

Losing the match with a score of 0:4, CSKA got three goals back in 25 minutes.

The victory over CSKA allowed the club from the Samara region to take the lead in the Eastern Conference with 37 points. While Metallurg Magnitogorsk is in second place (36), Kazan Ak Bars lags behind Metallurg in additional indicators and closes the top three.

CSKA is in fifth place in the Western Conference with 30 points. Dinamo Moscow is the leader with 39 points. The second place is taken by the capital Spartak with 38 points. Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo is in the top three with 34 points.

In the next match, CSKA will face Chelyabinsk Traktor and Lada will face Kazan Ak Bars.
