Former Spartak Moscow player Eduard More said that red-white forward Alexander Sobolev is a player who needs periodic stress. He shared his opinion with him “RB Sports”.
“Sobolev is one of those football players who periodically needs stress, he needs to prove something and then he achieves more. In other words, he is the type of footballer who should play “at the extreme”. And if he plays “to the limit”, then he achieves a lot. If he calms down more or less, he plays worse,” said the former football player.
Sobolev played in 11 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season and scored two goals and three assists. In the last Russian Cup match against Krasnodar, the striker failed to convert the penalty after taking two touches.
After 13 rounds in the RPL, Spartak collected 20 points and ranked eighth in the rankings. The red-whites will play against the capital Lokomotiv on November 5. The teams’ starting whistle will blow at 19:30 Moscow time.
