Spartak goalkeeper reacted to being compared to Buffon

Goalkeeper of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club “Spartak” Patrick Rybar responded to the words of his teammate Egor Savikov, who compared the Slovakian to Italian football goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon legal betting.

“Did Savikov call me Buffon? Cool. I know this goalkeeper, but I don’t follow football much. Hockey is my number one sport. “I don’t play or watch football,” Rybar said.

In the current KHL season, Rybar played 22 matches for Spartak and conceded 41 goals.

On November 2, Spartak lost to the capital’s CSKA. The meeting ended with a score of 0:3.

Among the winners were Egor Fateev, Maxim Sorkin and Konstantin Okulov with accurate shots.

Spartak is in second place in the Western Conference rankings with 36 points. CSKA is in fifth place with 30 points.

The red and whites will face Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo in the next match. The meeting will take place on November 4. The teams will take to the ice at 17.00 Moscow time.
