With the season coming to an end, it is time for the analysis and end-of-course grades to be submitted accordingly. And all is good news in the case of Elche. A few days ago, the fact that the franchise club was the club that provided the most benefit in the 2020/21 season was added to the achievement of the goal. Going back to 2021/22, the team’s good work translates into data that elevates it as the best of the campaign.
According to data from the Transfermarkt portal, which updates every two weeks on the value of football players, Elche’s squad is the most valuable squad of the First Leaguewith reference to the end of the summer market (September 1) and the end of the season.
During the championship, The Franjiverde roster has increased from a global valuation of 49.1 million euros in September to 65.6 million euros in the latest update on 1 June. This represents an increase of 33.6%. No other LaLiga has grown this much. Behind him are Villarreal (Champions League semi-finalist) with 29.3% and Rayo Vallecano with 28.5%. Cádiz and Espanyol will also be over 25%, while the other five teams will complete a total of ten (half) positive balance lists: Valencia (16.9%), Athletic (16.5%), Osasuna (11.9%), Betis (11.5%) and Granada (0.6%), which, despite the decline, resulted in a somewhat revalued workforce.
According to the expert portal’s data analysis, the other eleven Major League teams finished the course with a worse roster than in September. The biggest drop was Levante, who started the season with 109.8 million euros and finished with 73.9. A 32.7% drop. It will be followed by Celta (21.3%) and Atletico de Madrid (19.9%).
Overall, it has not been a positive season for LaLiga in this sense. Despite Real Madrid’s titles and Barça’s winter reinforcements, the grands’ templates were also devalued. As a whole, the percentage devaluation was 3.1%.
This illustrates well the work of Elche, who started 2021/22 with the least valued third team, a little ahead of Cádiz and Rayo Vallecano, and they eventually outstripped two rivals (Alavés and Mallorca) in this division. Predictably, next year the Elche people will have more room to continue growing in this respect.
EVALUATION OF ELCHE FOOTBALL PLAYERS AT THE END OF THE SEASON
edgar badia: 3 million. His good campaign allowed him to double his market value. Receiving a phone call from the national team made him even bigger in this regard. will have to wait.

Peter Bigas: 1 million. Compared to the end of last year, he was down slightly, probably due to injuries that prevented him from making an undisputed start on 21/22.
Gonzalo Verdu: 700.000 Euros. The captain also suffered a slight setback as he failed to gain a fixed spot at eleven. It’s nothing to worry about someone coming to second B.
Diego Gonzalez: 2 million. “Big Data” treats Diego well, and September doubles its value. It should not have reached the ceiling due to circumstances and age. He is close to renewing his contract with Elche.
mojika: 5 million. His great season allowed him to go from 2 to 5 million euros. Bragarnik has another reason for wanting this.
Olaza: 2.5 million. It has played very little and therefore has lost some value since its arrival in January. Not so long ago, in January 2021, it reached 6 million euros.
Omar Mascarell: 4 million. Its good course has allowed it to return to a good position in the market, although it is far from reaching the 14 million mark at the end of 2019.
okra: 3 million. He arrived late and quietly. Tripled his market value in nine months, reaching the maximum limit of his career… until now.
Raul Guti: 4 million. Although it did not finish the boom, it did not lose much market value due to its youth and good conditions. It should explode.
Marcone: 2 million. It has been depreciating ever since it arrived in Elche territory. At best, it was worth 7.5 million. Now, Elche asks her about 2 they value.
Kike Perez: 1.5 million. It gained half a “kilo” in market value during its transfer, although the option to buy was much more expensive. We’ll see if Valladolid drops it.
Shepherd: 900.000 Euros. Injuries continue to aggravate him. In 2011, it reached a value of 30 million euros. It’s under a million, a figure it reaches Elche in the summer.
Tete Morente: 3 million. Another name that doubled its value this season, where he left bright moments. Some clubs in England have him in their portfolio and don’t hesitate to pay well.
josan: 1 million. He’s back at the million valuation, his career maximum. When it came to Elche in the second B, it was 300,000 euros. Evolution is more than obvious.
Loyalty: 2 million. The man from Huelva continued his initial assessment. In his case, although it doesn’t perform well on grass, the years are already getting heavy to boost it. The top is 3 “kilo”.
infantry: 1 million. It is far from its best years and maximum valuation, reaching 9m euros in 2011. Apart from surprise, he will not continue to wear the green stripe next year.
Peter Milla: 3 million. He started with a top scorer 1.8 in Frangiverde and finished at his career high of 3 million. He is willing to stretch the rope with the stick so as not to continue upward or be renewed.
Lucas Boy: 15 million. Big “high”. He started at 3.5 million and reached 15 despite injuries amid his good work, offers from big clubs and a call-up to Argentina.
Cheek: 1.5 million. Despite his struggle with the goal, he remained in the same position throughout the field. Not so long ago, in 2018, it had a valuation of 18 million euros.
Eze Ponce: 5 million. They chose him even though he didn’t show his potential. He was valued at 7 “pounds” when he arrived and had lost several pairs that he would soon want to recover from.
