Former Tottenham and Russian national team player Roman Pavlyuchenko admitted that he will vote for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in the Ballon d’Or award. His words are quoted “Championship”.
“As much as I love Messi, I wouldn’t vote for him today. I would vote for Haaland: he is consistent, he scores goals, he won the treble with Manchester City. Messi has faded into the background as he approaches the end of his career. Mbappe may struggle, but I would still vote for Haaland because he deserves more,” Pavlyuchenko said.
According to France Football, the best player award ceremony will take place on October 30, 2023.
