Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner called out to Russian representative Daniil Medvedev after winning the final of the ATP-500 tournament held in Vienna. His words are quoted in The Tennis Letter on social network X (formerly Twitter).

“Congratulations to you and your team on another great week. You’re doing an incredible job. Getting to the final with you means a lot to me. You’ve helped me improve significantly. Thank you so much. “I wish you all the best of luck for the rest of the season,” said Sinner.

In the rankings of the Association of Tennis Professionals, Medvedev ranks third with 7,355 points. He is the best of Russians. Serbian Novak Djokovic continues to lead with 11,045 points.

In the semifinals, Medvedev defeated Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas. The match ended with the score 6:4, 7:6 (8:6). The duration of the game was 1 hour and 45 minutes. Sinner defeated Russian Andrey Rublev in the semi-finals with scores of 5:7, 6:7 (5:7).

Medvedev reached the finals of ATP competitions nine times this season and managed to win five of them. On October 8, Medvedev sensationally lost to the US representative Sebastian Korda in the third round of the tournament in Shanghai, with scores of 6:7 and 2:6.

Previously Medvedev named Monster after losing the final of the tournament in Vienna.
