Unbeaten Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usyk Youtube channel Fight Hub TV has announced the name of its desired mixed martial arts (MMA) opponent.

“Do I want to fight against an MMA fighter too? From where? To be! Hey Conor, where are you? How will our struggle be? Surprising,” said the Ukrainian.

34-year-old McGregor’s last fight was against American Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The meeting ended in the first round, as a result of which the Irishman suffered a broken leg. McGregor is a former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion.

At the end of August, Usyk defeated Briton Daniel Dubois. The fight ended with an early victory for the Ukrainian: he knocked out his opponent in the ninth round – Dubois did not have time to reach the referee’s count. The fight took place for the world titles WBA-Super, WBO, IBF, IBO (Usik’s second defense), The Ring (Usik’s first defense) heavyweight titles.

Oleksandr Usyk and British boxer Tyson Fury are scheduled to fight for the undisputed heavyweight world title in Saudi Arabia on December 23, 2023 or January 2024.
