Unbeaten Russian boxer Artur Beterbiev talked about a possible fight against Ukrainian heavyweight Alexander Usik. His words lead the way “Sports Express”.

“Tendril? I have nothing with him, he is not my weight. He entered slowly. If I move too, let’s talk. That’s why I don’t like to waste words. I couldn’t see him today. I am an adequate person. I don’t hit anyone on the street. Only if you are asked to hit,” said the athlete.

Usik and Beterbiev met three times as amateurs. The Russian won the first fight, the Ukrainian won the other two.

On January 29, Beterbiev defeated Anthony Yarde. In the eighth round, after being knocked down, the British boxer’s corner threw in the white towel. He has 19 wins (all by knockout) and not a single loss.

Beterbiev is the world light heavyweight champion according to the World Boxing Council (WBC), the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and the International Boxing Federation (IBF).

Previously Ukrainian boxer statedthat he did not want to share the ring with the Russians.
