Russian fighter Vyacheslav Datsik says he does not need a rematch with Alexander Emelianenko Sports24.

“I don’t need revenge, Alexander needs it. If they give me a few months’ notice before the fight, I’ll be prepared. Because you don’t want to go out and lose. Emelianenko is still a professional. You can’t drink away the experience and the blow will be too hard,” Datsik said.

Datsik, 43, has seven wins and nine defeats in MMA. In August, he knocked out Englishman Oli Thompson, a former representative of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), in a boxing match in Moscow. On October 28, Datsik lost to Belarusian Pyotr Romankevich as part of the REN TV Fight Club tournament.

Emelianenko is currently being treated for alcoholism at a rehabilitation center in Ingushetia.
