Former Spartak and Zenit player Vladimir Bystrov believes Real Sociedad’s Russian midfielder Arsen Zakharyan should use the time provided to him by the team’s head coach. His words are quoted “Match TV”.
“You have to play and take advantage of the time they give him. In the last game against Mallorca, he did nothing for 45 minutes. God bless him. Zakharyan needs to work hard on himself. “This needs to be escalated,” Bystrov said.
On October 24, Arsen Zakharyan made his debut for Real Sociedad in the Champions League match against Benfica. The Russian player entered the field in the 76th minute, replacing Ander Barrenechea, with the Spanish team’s score at 1-0.
On August 19, Real Sociedad announced the transfer of Arsen Zakharyan from Dynamo Moscow. His contract with the team runs until June 2029. Zakharyan made his debut for Real Sociedad in the 75th minute of the match against Las Palmas on 25 August. In total, he played five matches for the Spanish club in La Liga without scoring any goals. He appeared as a substitute in four of five matches.
