In the 3rd round match of the Asian Champions League group stage, Saudi club Al-Nasr faced Qatari Al-Duhail and won with a score of 4:3.
Midway through the first half, Anderson Talisca opened the scoring with a pass from Cristiano Ronaldo. At the beginning of the second half, the club’s Saudi Arabian players hit the opposition goal twice – Mane and Ronaldo scored one goal each. It took four minutes for the Qatari players to pull two goals back, but in the 81st minute the same Ronaldo scored a double to take his team to a comfortable lead. Towards the end of the match, Michael Olunga scored a goal back to set up the final score.
After three matches in the Asian Champions League group stage, Al-Nassr is in first place with nine points. Al-Duhail is third (one point). Ronaldo has already scored three goals and two assists in three matches this season.
On January 2, Ronaldo became a player for Al-Nasr of Saudi Arabia under a contract in which he will receive 200 million euros per year. It was reported that additional bonuses were given to the Portuguese and his family.
