Franco Camozzi, the former advisor of Spartak’s former owner Leonid Fedun, criticized red-white forward Shamar Nicholson. His words are quoted Sports24.
“Nicholson is Spartak’s worst signing in recent years. It was right for them to rent it out.
It will be interesting to see what Shamar will show and do to return to Moscow. He needs to prove with his performance that he deserves to play for Spartak,” said Camozzi.
Nicholson moved to Spartak from Belgian Charleroi in December 2021. This season, the Jamaican striker was sent on loan to French side Clermont.
In the 12th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Spartak defeated Paris NN with a score of 2-0. Danil Prutsev and Christopher Martins scored. After 12 weeks, the red-whites are in fourth place with Lokomotiv with 20 points each. Krasnodar is still in the lead. Vladimir Ivich’s team scored 28 points. The runner-up was Zenit, who beat Krylya Sovetov from Samara, taking the team to third place.
Previously at Lokomotiv delighted Dziuba’s presence.
