Former Russian international and Zenit player Vladislav Radimov believes that Spartak looked better without Alexander Sobolev in the match against Paris NN. His words are quoted “Sports Express”.

“If Sobolev is in good shape, of course he is the starter. But I’m definitely not physically ready right now. He showed this when the striker replaced the injured Promes in the second half.

In my opinion, Abascal is doing everything right now. Spartak with Nizhny without Sobolev played great in the first half! So I’m totally on coach’s side here. Radimov said that he would not babysit the same Sobolev.

On October 18, journalist Ivan Karpov reported that Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal suspended Alexander Sobolev from training with the team for violation of discipline. The striker has been playing for the Russian national team for the last few days.

Later, Metaratings stated that the coach was not satisfied with the player’s attitude to training, and he himself was not satisfied with the attitude of the Spanish specialist towards defender Georgiy Dzhikia.

Sobolev was not included in the starting lineup of the match against Paris NN and took part in the second half.

It was before named RPL’s bravest coach.
