Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Russian fighter Magomed Ankalaev admitted that he wants to have a rematch against Brazilian Johnnie Walker. His words are quoted “Match TV”.

“The doctor comes to you and asks: “Where are you?” And, as I learned later, he said: “In the desert” or something like that. There’s no other way to say this; he lost the war.

What about outside the ring? If the person in the ring doesn’t want to fight. And there, any fool understands that they will not let you fight. Like a tethered dog barking and remaining motionless when released. Why are you locking yourself up? And if he shows me something illegal, of course I will destroy it. And on the street too,” Ankalaev said.

The fight between Ankalaev and Walker at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on October 21 was declared a no-contest after the Russian kicked his opponent in the head (illegal kick) while he was at three count. The judges stopped the fight.

The Brazilian did not agree with the referee’s decision and showed with all his appearance that he was ready to continue the fight. Security guards had to calm down Walker, who tried to start a fight.

In December 2022, the 31-year-old Russian fought Poland’s Jan Blachowicz for the UFC light heavyweight title. The fight lasted five rounds and ended in a draw.
