Max Verstappen dominated the US GP sprint from start to finish and showed that a comeback from sixth place in tomorrow’s race is very much possible. The Dutch pilot, who wanted to get the 15th win of the season and the 50th win of his life in F1 after being sentenced to the championship penalty in Qatar two weeks ago, completed the Circuit of the Americas in a much superior way this Saturday and completed the race with an advantage of more than nine seconds. Above Lewis Hamilton.
The seven-time champion beat Charles Leclerc at the start and took second place in the sprint against the third-placed Monegasque. Carlos Sainz was sixth and Fernando Alonso was thirteenth.
