The official social networks of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have removed comments from Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Islam Makhachev in support of Palestine following his victory over Australian Alex Volkanovski. This was reported by “Championship”.

On October 21, Makhachev scored an early victory over the Australian at the UFC 294 tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE). The Russian player defeated his opponent by knockout in the first round and defended his title for the second time. He now has 25 wins and one defeat.
