Famous former Russian tennis player Andrei Olkhovsky, two-time finalist of the Davis Cup and three-time semi-finalist of the Grand Slam tournaments in doubles, evaluated Daniil Medvedev and Andrei’s season in his comment to socialbites.ca. Rublev calls them some of the most consistent tennis players in the world.

“It is too early to summarize the results. There is still the Masters in Paris and then the Final Tournament. We will see, of course, we are waiting for the victories. We have two players ranked third and fifth in the world. With these results I do not think they lack consistency, but I will say that the whole tour is unstable at the moment. “Before the top 10, we always showed consistently high results, now we are incomprehensibly jumping. But still, our players are currently ranked third and fifth in the world. Compared to others, this is a stable and high result,” says Olkhovsky.

Medvedev sits third in the ATP rankings and has already secured his place in the Final Tournament of the year. He has five singles titles this season and a final at the US Open, where he lost to Novak Djokovic. Rublev is in fifth place in the rankings and will likely perform in the Finals as well. He has two singles championships, one of which is the Masters in 2023.

Former world number two acceptedHe said he was not surprised by Kasatkina’s exit from the US Open.
