During the friendly match played in Brazil on October 13, players of the Russian youth team got into a fight with players from Palmeiras.

The conflict occurred at the end of the match – in the 87th minute of the match, one of the players of the South American club St. He hit St. Petersburg Zenit academy student Ilya Rodionov in the face, and a small fight ensued. It took place in the middle of the field, as a result of which Rodionov and his culprit received a red card and were sent off the field.

The match ended in victory for the Russians with a score of 3:1. The goal of the first half was opened by 18-year-old Krasnodar forward Alexander Koksharov. 19-year-old midfielder Cauan Santos scored the return goal in the 19th minute.

In the 57th minute, Alexander Koksharov missed the penalty kick. In the 75th minute, the Russian national team took the lead again with the goal of 18-year-old football player from Krasnodar, Dmitry Kuchugura. The final score of the match was determined by 19-year-old Ural Yekaterinburg midfielder Igor Dmitriev.

As part of the Brazilian tour, the Russian youth team will play two more matches; players will face rivals from Santos and Red Bull Bragantino.
