Ukrainian football club Shakhtar commented on the disappearance of midfielder Alexander Rasputko. A Ukrainian source is quoted as saying “Championship”.
“His contract expires in 6 months. The club began to put pressure on him to extend the contract. He refused. We were not happy with the financial terms offered. They began to punish him – not to bet on games. But they took me to the UEFA League because they needed the result. And there he disappeared. “The phone is off,” the source said.
It was previously reported that Rasputko did not return to his hometown after the UEFA Youth League match against Antwerp.
It was noted that only his neatly abandoned jersey was found at the airport and that the football player deleted all his posts on social networks and stopped answering calls. According to the Brutal Football Telegram channel, Rasputko fled to Russia and requested political asylum.
The 19-year-old football player recently signed a 5-year contract with Shakhtar. As part of the Ukrainian youth team, he effectively appeared in four matches without scoring a goal.
