Real Madrid football player Toni Kroos talked about his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Saudi Al-Nasr. The German’s words were quoted by Madrid Universal.
“It was amazing to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. Kroos said he was the best player in the history of football.
Ronaldo played for Real Madrid from 2009 to 2018. During this time, the Portuguese athlete became the Spanish champion twice and won the same number of national cups. He also managed to win the Champions League four times.
Ronaldo became an Al-Nasr player on January 2, 2023. According to his contract with the club, he will receive 200 million euros annually. The agreement will run until the end of June 2025. The striker played in 11 matches in all competitions this season, scoring 11 goals and providing 6 assists.
The 38-year-old forward has won the Ballon d’Or award five times. He won the European Championship (2016) and the Nations League (2018/19) with the Portuguese national team.
