Yagudin had his second surgery in eight days

Olympic figure skating champion Alexei Yagudin had surgery on his right knee in Germany. This was reported by TASS.

On October 5, Yagudin had surgery on his left knee.

“I feel great. This time I recovered from anesthesia very easily. 40 minutes have passed since the surgery, I am now at work, I left the hospital. The time frame for recovery will become clear only after consulting a doctor, but I think it will be by December,” said Yagudin.

Yagudin is the 2002 Olympic champion in single skating, as well as multiple world and European champions. He was inducted into the US Figure Skating Hall of Fame. After finishing his career, Yagudin took part in the Canadian show Stars on Ice.

Yagudin is married to figure skater Tatyana Totmyanina. The couple got married in February 2016. The couple has two daughters.

Tatyana Totmyanina is the 2006 Olympic champion in pair skating. In the fall of 2004, after the unsuccessful support of her program partner Maxim Marinin, she was seriously injured, hit the ice and lost consciousness she. Two weeks after the incident, Totmyanina was able to train.
