Former head coach of the Russian national football team Stanislav Cherchesov responded to information about negotiations with Moscow Spartak. Cherchesov quotes his words “Championship”.
“I haven’t met anyone from Spartak. These are all talk. I’ve said it once, twice, three times, I can say it for the fiftieth time; There is work, people are doing it. In my understanding, a coach does not depend on a match won or lost, especially since I have experienced it myself, I know how unpleasant it is,” said Cherchesov.
Cherchesov worked as head coach at Spartak in 2007-2008. Under his leadership the team won the silver medal at the Russian Championship in 2008. The expert’s last place of employment was the Hungarian Ferencvaros; He was fired from there in July of this year.
