Testosterone tests of Juventus Torino and France national football player Paul Pogba, who was accused of doping, were positive again. This was reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano on the social network X.
On 11 September, it became known that the Frenchman had passed a doping test positive for testosterone on 20 August, for which he faced a football ban of up to four years. Italy’s National Anti-Doping Tribunal temporarily suspended the 30-year-old midfielder.
The Frenchman requested a counter-check of the doping test. It was learned that the test performed in the Acqua Acetosa laboratory on October 6 gave positive results for testosterone.
As part of the France national team, Pogba won the 2018 world title and silver medal at the 2016 European Championships. During his career, the midfielder also played for Manchester United. Four-time Serie A champion, two-time Coppa Italia champion and Europa League champion (2017).
Pogba managed to play in two matches in the Italian championship this season.
