Roma head coach Jose Mourinho will not renew his contract with the Roma club and plans to lead the national team. This was reported by Things to doFichajes.
The Portuguese’s contract with Roma expires in June 2024. According to the publication, the national teams of Italy, England and Mexico are among the national teams that can benefit from the services of the 60-year-old specialist after leaving Serie A. If Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti refuses, the Brazilian national team can also apply to Mourinho.
Mourinho will take charge of Roma in 2021. Under his leadership, the team won the Conference League last year and reached the Europa League final in the 2022/23 season, where they lost to Sevilla in a penalty shoot-out.
He also previously coached London’s Chelsea and Tottenham, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Porto teams. Mourinho won the Champions League and the Europa League (formerly the UEFA Cup) twice each.
Formerly Juventus denied Pay Ronaldo’s accumulated salary.
