Spartak’s former head coach Raul Riancho shared his views on the transfer of Russian midfielder Arsen Zakharyan to Real Sociedad. Riancho quotes his words “RB Sports”.
“Sociedad Academy is one of the best in Spain. Many talented players grow up in this school, and most of them continue their careers in the main team. That’s why the competition for a place at Real Sociedad is always crazy. It will be difficult for Zakharyan to break into the starting 11, but everything is in his hands,” Riancho said.
On September 25, the club reported that Zakharyan had contracted coronavirus.
On August 19, Real Sociedad announced the transfer of Arsen Zakharyan from Dynamo Moscow. His contract with the team runs until June 2029. Zakharyan made his debut for Real Sociedad in the 75th minute of the match against Las Palmas on 25 August. In total, he played three matches in La Liga for the Spanish club without scoring a goal. He took part as a substitute player in all matches. The Russian player has not yet appeared in the Champions League.
Former Zenit football player Vladislav Radimov commentedThat Zakharyan could repeat the fate of Alexey Miranchuk in Atalanta.
