Former goalkeeper of the Czech national hockey team, Dominik Hasek, shared his opinion on Twitter about the situation regarding Russian rapper Ligalize, whose real name is Andrey Menshikov, whom the Polish airline did not allow to board the plane due to his Russian passport.
The musician spoke harshly about the situation but did not criticize the airline.
“Read the words of hockey player Nikita Zadorov. How shallow they are compared to this rapper. “It is not enough for me that a person just knows how to perform, to play in front of the public,” Hasek wrote.
Zadorov gave an interview to journalist Yuri Dud (recognized as an agent of foreign media in the Russian Federation) in which he criticized the situation in Russia.
The 28-year-old defender has been playing abroad since 2012, when he left farm club CSKA Red Army. Before becoming an NHL player, Zadorov first played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the London Knights, where he also played for the Buffalo Sabers, Colorado Avalanche, Chicago Blackhawks and Calgary Flames. This is not the first time Zadorov has spoken critically about the situation in Russia. Before this, the defender had also criticized the government for the standard of living in the country.
Previously Zadorov statedAfter his interview, he said that he received support from Ukrainians.
