Coach Tarasova: We accept the acceptance of Paralympic athletes in all statuses 22:55

Tatyana Tarasova, the honored coach of figure skating of the USSR, reacted positively to the news that Russian athletes were allowed to participate in the 2024 Paralympic Games “Sports Express”.

“We want to be allowed to have any status and we accept that. We’ve done this before. Do you want us to say “Russia”? So, so they don’t let us in? – said Tarasova.

Russians received the right to participate in the Paralympic Games, World Championships and other international tournaments in neutral status. Russians are not allowed to participate in team competitions.

The ban on the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) from organizing events and competitions with the participation of other IPC members remains.

The Paralympic Games will be held in Paris from 28 August to 8 September 2024. Competitions will be held in venues planned to be used for the Summer Olympic Games.
