Paris Saint-Germain have revealed that Mbappe suffered a “minor sprain” to his ankle after being forced to leave the match against Marseille.
Mbappé limped off in the first half of PSG’s 4-0 win over Marseille on Sunday with an ankle injury. Coach Luis Enrique stated after the match that it was not a serious injury and that the world champion with France was doing ‘fine’. Now the club have announced on their
Mbappe has been a key player for PSG this season. He has scored eight goals in six games in all competitions and is possibly the best player in the world at the moment. If she is out for an extended period of time, the French team will likely be hit hard.

PSG will face Clermont Foot in Ligue 1 on Saturday and then Newcastle United in the Champions League on October 4. The Parisian team will hope that Mbappé returns as soon as possible.
