Former CSKA and Russian national team football player Alan Dzagoev will continue his career in the Greek Super League. This was reported by “Euro-Football.Ru”.

According to the publication, the 33-year-old midfielder agreed on the terms of his personal employment contract with the Lamia club. On September 28, the Russian will go to Greece.

Dzagoev played for CSKA from 2008 to 2022. With the club he became champion three times and won the Russian Cup and Super Cup four times. He spent last season at Rubin Kazan, which he left last summer.

As part of the Russian national team, Dzagoev played 59 matches, in which he scored nine goals.

Lamia collected six points after six rounds in the Greek championship this season and ranked ninth in the rankings. It is worth noting that Dzagoev’s former teammate at CSKA, Serbian midfielder Zoran Tosic, plays for the Greek club.
