Two-time Olympic champion Alexander Kozhevnikov responded to criticism from National Hockey League (NHL) Calgary Flames club defender Nikita Zadorov. Kozhevnikov’s words are quoted as follows: “Championship”.
“Zadorov is talking nonsense! Where does she lives? He slanders our legends and says that someone wrote it for me. He knows everything! I wonder which intelligence service he works for? Since he lives in America, he somehow knows what I say, what I write, who interviews me, who calls me. Let him play hockey, he’s better at it. He just talks nonsense,” Kozhevnikov said.
Zadorov has been playing in the National Hockey League (NHL) since 2013. The defenseman has been playing for the Calgary Flames since 2021. He also defended the colors of Chicago, Colorado and Buffalo at different times. Last season, the Russian player played 82 matches in the regular season and scored 14 goals and 8 assists.
