Ronaldo had a secret agreement with Juventus that allowed the Turin club to defer wages during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Italians need to transfer another 19.9 million euros to Ronaldo. It was promised that this payment would be made if the Portuguese left.

Ronaldo became a player of Al-Nasr from Saudi Arabia on January 2, 2023 and signed a contract worth 200 million Euros per year with the club. It was reported that additional bonuses were given to the Portuguese and his family.

On 12 August, Al-Nasr defeated Al-Hilal in the Arab Champions Cup final match. The match played at the King Fahd International Stadium in Taif ended with a score of 2:1 after extra time. Ronaldo scored a double goal. Thus, Ronaldo won his first trophy with Al-Nasr. In total, Ronaldo has 30 trophies at club level.

Al-Nasr is in seventh place in the Saudi Arabian Championship standings with nine points. On August 16, Ronaldo’s team will play against Al-Raida.
