“First of all, I really love Russia. It’s been a few months where me and my family haven’t been very comfortable. Therefore, we decided to go somewhere far from Moscow. St. Petersburg is safer and we said to ourselves yes, why not,” Izidor said.

On 9 September, Izidor moved on loan to Zenit St. He moved to St. Petersburg.
Izidor was transferred from Monaco to Lokomotiv in the 2021/22 season. In the current season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), he appeared in four matches and managed to score one goal.
