Born in Mataró, and after making his debut for Barcelona at the age of 15 years and 290 days, Lamine will now make his debut for Spain a few months later, when he is just 16 years and 57 days old. It far surpasses Gavi, who had done it at 17 years and 62 days in the 2021 Nations League.
Lamine went onto the field to replace the injured player. Dani Olmo in the 44th minute of the match, when Luis de la Fuente’s team won 0-4, and he had his dream international debut.
