Canadian rookie ‘Lada’ predicted Ovechkin’s chances of breaking Gretzky’s record

Canadian rookie club of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) “Lada” Troy Josephs believes striker “Washington” Alexander Ovechkin can break Wayne Gretzky’s National Hockey League (NHL) goalscoring record Sports24.

“Ovechkin is the best Russian hockey player in history. Gretzky has every chance to break his most unattainable record. Sidney Crosby and Ovechkin will forever remain in the history of the NHL and all of hockey,” Josephs said.

Ovechkin has 822 goals in his NHL career. Gretzky is 72 goals behind. He remains in first place among snipers in NHL history due to Canada’s 894 goals.

Ovechkin played in 74 regular season games in the NHL last season, scoring 42 goals and 33 assists. But that didn’t help the Capitals reach the tournament’s playoffs.

Formerly Vyacheslav Fetisov took the chances Ovechkin will break Gretzky’s record.
