Cristiano Ronaldo was questioned on various topics while taking a lie detector test. Did he tell the truth?
Champions League vs World Cup
Ronaldo has won the Champions League five times. The first of those victories came while he was at Manchester United, and the other four came in a record-breaking spell at Real Madrid. When asked if he would trade his European titles to win the World Cup with Portugal, Ronaldo said no. The lie detector, which was created in collaboration with Binance, said it was telling the truth.
World Championship 2026
Ronaldo is the all-time top scorer in the history of international football. He played 200 international matches for his country and remains available for the national team. He could very well appear at the 2026 World Cup, which would be his sixth appearance at FIFA’s flagship event. When asked if Portugal is capable of winning that tournament, Ronaldo said “yes”. It was deemed a lie and the 38-year-old said: “What a pessimist, huh?”

best goal
The Portuguese icon has scored many memorable goals over the years, but few can be considered better than the impressive bicycle kick he scored for Real Madrid in a Champions League tie against Juventus in 2017-18. Ronaldo said this score was the best, but they told him he was lying. He disagreed and said of that goal: “For me it is the best goal. You can say this is the hardest… the most beautiful. It depends, on many things.”
Go ahead
Ronaldo is still doing well at Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia, with 12 goals in 11 games this season. It has always been kept in the best possible condition and is expected to keep playing for a while. It was believed that Ronaldo was telling the truth by admitting that he intends to continue playing until he is 40 years old.
goal record
Ronaldo has become the first man in history to score 850 goals in professional football, 727 of them at club level and 123 with Portugal. His eternal rival Lionel Messi is second with 818 and is two years younger, but Ronaldo still has a lot of football ahead of him. When asked if anyone would ever beat their record, he said “no” and told the truth.

no one is better
It was also believed that Ronaldo was telling the truth when he considered himself the best scorer in history. He has records to support this claim, with over 100 goals for Manchester United and Juventus. He scored 450 goals in just 438 appearances for Real Madrid and is close to one goal per game for Al-Nassr.
