Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev advanced to the quarter-finals of the US Open by defeating Australian Alex de Minor in the fourth round of the tournament.

To reach the semi-finals, the tennis player will fight another representative of Russia, Andrei Rublev, who defeated England representative Jack Draper in the quarter-finals. The match, which lasted about 3 hours, ended with the scores of 6:3, 3:6, 6:3, 6:4.
Medvedev, 27, is the third racket in the world. He has won five Professional Tennis Association titles this season.
