Serbian tennis player, world number two Novak Djokovic beat Croatia’s Borna Goyo in the 1/8 final of the tournament to reach the quarterfinals of the US Open (US Open).
The match, which lasted 2 hours and 25 minutes, ended with the scores of 6:2, 7:5, 6:4. Djokovic made 12 aces, made three double mistakes and converted 5 of his 13 breaking points. The Croatian player has 14 aces, eight double faults and one break point.
The Serbian tennis player will fight with US representative Taylor Fritz to reach the semi-finals of the tournament. The fight will take place on September 5, and the estimated start time of the game has not been determined yet.
Djokovic is a 23-time Grand Slam champion and world number two.
