‘It will be very difficult’: Rublev talks about prospects for 1/8 final at US Open

Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev admitted that he expects a tough match with Jack Draper, who will take part in the 1/8 finals of the US Open (US Open). His words lead The Tennis Letter on Twitter.

“It will be very difficult. I had an interview where they asked me who would be the next ATP champion. I always say Draper. He’s very talented and a really great player. He has everything to improve himself and become the best player,” said Rublev.

The tennis players will play the game on September 4, and the starting time is not yet known.

Rublev is ranked eighth in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, while in 2020 she became Olympic champion in mixed doubles with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. During his career, he won 18 ATP tournaments, including 14 in singles, and won the Davis Cup in 2021 as part of the Russia team. She herself is the Honored Master of Sports of Russia.
