Who is Gonzalo García Torres, Real Madrid Castilla striker called up by Carlo Ancelotti?

Gonzalo García Torres was born in Madrid on March 24, 2004, so his Real Madrid-Getafe call-up came when he was 19 years old.

Trained in the SEK youth academy, the academic partner of Real Madrid, he later went through the Club Santa Bárbara and the Jarama Race when he was barely 10 years old. At a young age he arrived at La Fábrica and then went to the youth academy of Mallorca (cadet in 2018/19).

A season later, he would return to Real Madrid to continue his career at a club where he went through all the youth teams until he landed in Castilla under the management of Raúl González.

An under-19 international with the Spanish national team and called up against Getafe due to Vinicius’ injury, the Madrid striker has been champions of the Copa del Rey Juvenil for the past two years, as well as the Champions Cup. At Castilla, Raúl has placed him in all attacking positions.
