UEFA this week set the Champions League and Europa League group stages for the 2023-2024 season, a campaign in which up to seven teams will represent LaLiga in continental competitions.
Thursday, August 31, was the turn of the Champions League, with FC Barcelona, Sevilla, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad meeting their rivals for the group stage of the main continental tournament.
A day later, Betis and Villarreal were the other two Spanish clubs to find out which three teams they would face in the European campaign. Osasuna, meanwhile, lost to Bruges in the previous round and is no longer in the Conference League.
