Lille offers Spartak 11 million euros for the Russian player

France’s Lille has made an offer to Spartak Moscow to buy Russian midfielder Daniil Denisov for 11m euros. metatations.

According to the publication, Spartak’s sporting director Paul Ashworth is inclined to reject Lille’s transfer of the player.

Denisov is the apple of the red-whites’ eye. He made his debut for the main team in 2020. In 2023, the midfielder played his first and so far only match for the Russian national team.

Denisov has made six appearances and one assist in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season.

On August 26, Spartak drew 0-0 with Akhmat in the sixth round of the RPL. This was the third game in a row where the red-whites failed to win.

After six rounds in the RPL, Guillermo Abascal’s teams share sixth place with CSKA (10 points each). Krasnodar is in the first place. Wards of Vladimir Ivic scored 14 points. One less to Zenit and Ural.

On August 29, Muscovites defeated Dynamo in the Russian Cup (4:1).
