Lionel Messi and Novak Djokovic made the “evening” for Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas who was thrilled to be with two legends.
The two legends of the sport met up with Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas to make it an unforgettable evening for the American businessman.
Djokovic just won the Cincinnati Open, an ATP Masters 1000 title, where he defeated Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in what became a classic of the modern tennis era. He took the time to deal with Messi, who was great for Inter Miami and led his team to a League Cup win, which was his 44th career title.
The two legends were joined by Mas, who shared a photo of the trio and wrote, “What a night,” along with two goat emojis representing the acronym GOAT (the greatest of all time in English).
Djokovic has a close relationship with Messi and was one of those in attendance when Paris Saint-Germain won the Ligue 1 trophy in June while taking part in the French Open in the city. He took the opportunity to meet seven-time Ballon d’Or winner and Brazil international Neymar on the occasion.
WHAT NEXT FOR MESSI? Messi kicks off the MLS experience on Saturday night when he takes on New York Red Bull. It will be their first league game and they want to push Inter from the bottom of the table.
