Alessandro Burlamaqui (Lima, 18 February 2002) will wear black for the next two seasons after signing with Alicante club and ending his relationship with Valencia CF. Both clubs have reached an agreement on the transfer of the Peruvian football player. Burlamaqui made his debut on February 12, 2023 at Antonio Solana Stadium against Bilbao Athletic, adding a total of 890 minutes in 15 games, starting on the 12th. “During his time defending our jersey, he showed the quality of the midfielder, his commitment and his progress as a football player,” say his recruits.
Jorge Lópéz, sporting director of CF Intercity, stressed the importance of this merger: “He is a player who has owned him since 2002, with two years left in the U23 (this and the next) and is a good legacy for the club. Sportingly his We already know what he can give us, he knows the club, the team and the coach, so he’s made a lot of progress. His arrival gives more continuity to the block we have, he joins players from last season on which the project is based. He trains in Valencia, plays friendlies and coaches. He can be ready to play when he sees fit.”
Burlamaqui joined the black team on loan last winter Sunday, after playing the first half of the championship with Badajoz in the First Federation Group 1. The Peruvian midfielder started his Spanish football career at the age of 7 in the subcategories of Gimnàstic de Tarragona. He also passed Santes Creus and Reus Deportiu academy before signing for RCD Espanyol in 2015. He quickly realized his football potential with the budgerigar team and became the captain of Juvenil B and later of Juvenil A. He did not go unnoticed by ‘The Guardian’ newspaper, which included him in the list of 60 most talented young actors in the world in 2019.
In the summer of 2021, he signed for Valencia CF, a club where he came to join the first team in pre-season friendlies. During regular competition, he played for his subsidiary, Valencia Mestalla. He represented his country in the under-17 and under-20 teams. Joined the South American Sub-17.
CF Intercity is acquiring the rights of a very young player who still has potential for development and therefore becomes an asset to the organization headed by Salvador Martí.
