“I don’t see myself as talented. I’m definitely inferior to Arshavin in terms of talent. I played at Euro 2012 not because of talent but because of character? I played in the Champions League and the Russian Championship when I was 22 years old. Yes you are progressing and you can’t go anywhere without talent but I’m a real talent -if you say that I have talent, I strongly disagree with that. Here Arshavin is really a talent, ”said Dzagoev.
He added that he realizes himself only 60-70 percent of the time.
Dzagoev played in CSKA from 2008 to 2022. Together with the club, he became the champion three times and won the Russian Cup and the Super Cup four times. He spent last season at Kazan Rubin. The 33-year-old midfielder is now teamless.
