It’s the moment of truth. The match all teams dreamed of playing before the championship started. Spain is aiming for the title of the 2023 Women’s World Cup against England on Sunday, which will be played in Australia and New Zealand.
After the defeat to Japan on the last day of the group stage, La Roja recovered by crushing Switzerland in the round of 16 and knocking out the Netherlands in the quarter-finals (after extra time). In the semi-finals, goals from Salma Paralluelo and Olga Carmona helped to beat Sweden (2-1), in a great game for Jorge Vilda’s team.
