Arsen Zakharyan, the newly minted football player of Real Sociedad, made a post on his social media page saying goodbye to Dynamo Moscow.
Dynamo, thanks for everything! Thanks for the luck. Thank you for your patience. Thanks for your trust. Thanks for the love. It was unforgettable,” wrote Zakharyan.
Zakharyan signed a five-year contract with Sociedad.
The 20-year-old Samara native played for the Dynamo youth team from 2017 to 2020, after which he transferred to the main team and spent three seasons at the Russian Premier League (RPL) level. Previously, English Chelsea, Dutch Ajax and Feyenoord were interested in Zakharyan.
According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, Sociedad paid Dynamo €12 million in bonuses for the Russian football player, including a percentage of a possible future sale.
Zaharyan was not included in the Moscow club’s application for the Russian Premier League’s fourth round match against Baltika on 13 August. The head coach of the club, Marcel Lichka, said that Zakharyan can be called a player of the Spanish team. He introduced Zakharyan on the social network X (Twitter).
