The Belgian goalkeeper and Brazilian central defender have undergone surgery and will begin their recovery process in the coming days

Thibaut Courtois and Éder Militäo successfully intervened

Courtois’ surgery took place this morning at the hands of Dr Manuel Leyes and under the supervision of Real Madrid’s medical service. In addition to the cruciate ligament injury, the Belgian goalkeeper has significant damage to both menisci, although this does not affect the estimated recovery time.

Courtois will begin his recovery process in the coming days.

To armyReal Madrid also released a statement announcing that he had had successful surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The surgery was also performed by Dr. Manuel Leyes and Real Madrid’s medical service attended and supervised.

Like the Belgian, the Brazilian central defender will start his recovery process in the coming days.
