Egorova is the owner of three bronze and two silver awards at the European Championships. The swimmer has been playing for the Russian national team since 2017.
At the European Championships in Budapest in May 2021, Yegorova won a bronze medal in the 4x200m freestyle as part of the mixed relay team. She also won the bronze medal in 800 meters freestyle with a time of 8:26.56. Anna won the silver medal in the 400m freestyle. The swimmer lives and trains in France. Egorova is a native of Kaliningrad.
In March 2022, the International Swimming Federation (FINA) banned Russian and Belarusian swimmers from participating in competitions under its auspices, even under a neutral flag. Later, the organization stiffened the individual punishment for Russian Yevgeny Rylov and disqualified the athlete for nine months for participating in a rally concert in Luzhniki.
